The shittiest thing about touring is you miss all the new episodes of your crappy teenage drama shows. I missed the premier of The OC and even though I don’t really remember last season at all a part of me deep down is sad about that. I’m more upset because I think the new season of Viva La Bam started and I missed that too so today I got the DVD’s for season one in hopes of filling my otherwise boring days on the bus with a little happiness.
I don’t know where I am today but tomorrow we are going to be in Milwaukee. Whenever I say Milwaukee I think of Wayne’s World and Alice Cooper and everything is ten times funnier. The shows so far have been good although I made the mistake a few days ago of buying discount after Halloween candy and eating too much of it too fast.
I really need to start being more social this is ridiculous.
Also Adam when are we going to see Asses of Fire I got us a homeless man and everything.

I am not a morning person at all, especially since I am lagged as hell right now. I do not take well to being tired and that’s pretty much all that touring is. So today we are ‘off’ which means interviews and today, voting. Who knows how long that will take. After I am done with all of that I am going to fly my ass to Canada to latch myself onto Tim for a night or two and then I’m going to meet up with the guys in Denver.
I don’t even remember what I have written about in past updates but I’m assuming I haven’t mentioned that Tim and I are together. So far it’s been great, but stressful and it sucks to be somewhere you really don’t want to be. I love touring but I would also love to just hang around him all day and do nothing. Touring makes that hard though, but he’s been to see me a couple of times. Granted, each time he leaves I am a little bit less enthused about touring. I’m still having fun, though. Being able to do something I love and get paid isn’t something I will ever take for granted.
Halloween was good. It is my favorite night of the year hands down. We played a show and a bunch of kids dressed up and it was just really cool. I never got around to carving a pumpkin but I really wanted to fling guts at someone.
Adam came to visit for a few days and we didn’t do any of the shit we had initially planned and pretty much just lounged around and drank Pepsi. It was fun, though. We played a few video games and mostly I just kept taking naps and being a shitty host. I think the world would be surprised how much of my time is spent sleeping in random places. I can’t help it.
Right now I think we are leaving for some early morning radio thing. I am to tired I will probably sleep on the way there. Mm, sleep.

October is without a doubt my favorite month of the year. I love it because for the most part you can get away with just wearing a hoodie and you don’t have to bother with layer upon layer of coats and scarves and crap like that. If I’m in the right place it’s always nice to see the leaves change. The best part of October is the Simpson’s Halloween specials, by far. They are my favorite.
We started our tour with Sum41 a few days ago and so far all is going well. It always takes me a few shows to get back into the grove of things after being pretty much lazy except for the odd television thing. Chris isn’t out on tour with us, and I miss him a lot. He added a new dynamic to our group and is a really cool guy to hang around. He also has that drummer’s stubbornness to him, so when his doctor told him to take it easy he just worked harder. Now he’s having problems with his joints and he has to take time off, because it only got worse. We’ve Derek from Alkaline Trio out helping us though, which is cool. He won’t get to promote the album that he actually got to help write.
Tim Pagnotta flew in from wherever the hell he was last night and we hung out and ordered room service and watched bad TV movies and he snuck in an episode of Spongebob Squarepants which I am absolutely convinced is a show used to fuck with little kids minds. I hate it but somehow I couldn’t look away. It was so weird after the first half episode I couldn’t help but feel compelled to watch more. It reminds me of in Batman when the joker uses those creepy box things on the TV’s to steal everyone’s brainpower or something. Yeah, Spongebob is like that only without the little box thing. It comes straight out of the TV.
For some reason I always want to eat cold things when I’m cold so right now I am going to go and eat some soy ice cream and yes, Benji, I will leave some for you.

Does anyone remember that episode of Seinfeld when George’s boss keeps saying ‘Billy Martin’ over and over again? Yeah, I’m not that Billy Martin. He played for the Yankees, I think. This is awkward for me so I’m going to stop referencing baseball.
Billy Martin. Guitarist for Good Charlotte among other things. My hobbies include getting water bottles thrown at me and obsessing over Silverchair.
AIM: batter billy.
